Samsung and LG in OLED patent dispute
November 19, 2012

South Korea’s two giant technology companies are arguing over OLED patents. Samsung is alleging that LG has 7 patents filed but which fail to recognise Samsung’s original work in the area. The two have been arguing for some time over screen technologies and Samsung also alleges that LG has used unfair practices in obtaining Samsung patents.
Back in September LG started an action against Samsung over an alleged patent used by Samsung in its OLED-based Galaxy S smartphones.
