Slovak Telekom expands FTTH

Slovak Telekom has expanded the coverage of its Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network by 100,000 homes over the past 12 months, and now reaches over 315,000 homes in Slovakia. The FTTH network, which covers 19 cities including Banska Kosice and Bratislava, is utilised to deliver the company’s IPTV service ‘Magio TV’ and its high-speed broadband services. Slovak Telekom said the network will be expanded to cover more areas during the course of this year.
