Spanish TV group Mediapro has launched a new FTA DTT channel called Gol with programming based on sports such as beach football, tennis, basketball, cycling, motor or extreme sports.

The channel takes the place of Veo TV and will also include in-house content, news on sports and other programmes.

The launch of Gol comes one year after the closure of Gol TV following the arrival of beIN Sports.
