YouTube: Over 200bn World Cup content views

YouTube recorded more than 200 billion views related to the FIFA World Cup 2026.
A total of 1.7 billion people consumed World Cup content on the video-sharing platform, more than 550 million of them directly on their living room TVs.
YouTube’s official broadcast of the final, seeing Spain beat Argentina 1-0 on July 19th, attracted in excess of 21 million average minute audience over more than 40 markets, reaching a combined peak of 27 million+ concurrent viewers, reported the Google-owned company.
YouTube (along woith X) was named a Preferred Platform partner for FIFA during the tournament, with creators permitted to carry official broadcaster content. Creators (with a combined 350 million subscribers) uploaded content which brought more than 2.5 billion worldwide views to the 200 billion total.
