July 27, 2026
Kyle Thomas, the wildlife creator who has amassed more than 34-million followers on TikTok, is launching a new YouTube channel, Kyle’s Wildlife Heroes, in partnership with production company Waddell Media.
The launch also marks Waddell Media’s first dedicated YouTube channel and the next step in the company’s digital strategy, expanding its reach with original long-form content create for online audiences.
Launching at 4pm on July 30th, Kyle’s Wildlife Heroes sees Thomas travel the globe alongside the conservationists risking everything to save some of the world’s most endangered wildlife. From rescuing trafficked pangolins to coming face-to-face with deadly snakes, orphaned rhinos and rescued primates, every episode reveals the extraordinary stories behind the people fighting to protect the planet’s most vulnerable species.
“It’s thrilling and inspiring to meet people who have dedicated their lives to protecting animals,” said Thomas. “These conservationists are true heroes, and I can’t wait for people to see the incredible work they’re doing.”
Filming began in South Africa, where Thomas visited a specialist pangolin rescue and rehabilitation centre Umoya Khulula. Pangolins are among the world’s most illegally trafficked mammals. He also spent time at Care For Wild, the world’s largest rhino orphanage and rehabilitation centre, and The Vervet Monkey Foundation. Each 15 to 20-minute episode combines wildlife encounters with stories of hope, courage and conservation.
Jannine Waddell, Managing Director of Waddell Media, commented: “We’re incredibly excited to launch Waddell Media’s first dedicated YouTube channel with Kyle. The footage we’ve captured is simply extraordinary. We already have enough premium content for at least a year’s worth of weekly films, each one packed with incredible wildlife, unforgettable characters and breathtaking locations. Kyle’s warmth, curiosity and genuine passion for animals make him the perfect person to tell these stories.”
