AEW announces Rebel Heart Dynamite event supporting ALS charities

July 27, 2026

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced that it will host Rebel Heart Dynamite, streaming on September 9th from Athens, Georgia – a special event centered on wrestler Tanea ‘Rebel’ Brooks, who was diagnosed with ALS in March 2026.

The company is partnering with I AM ALS and Team Gleason (founded by former NFL player Steve Gleason), with 100 per cent of merchandise profits going directly to both organisations.

The event will air on TBS and HBO Max, and Brooks is scheduled to appear. This comes as the Ice Bucket Challenge has resurged following NFL star Chris Johnson’s recent ALS diagnosis announcement, with momentum building across sports and entertainment. AEW stars including Sting and Adam Cole are among those participating in the challenge to raise awareness. The partnership brings national entertainment platform visibility to nonprofits working in ALS advocacy and patient support while creating a direct funding pipeline for disease research and community impact.

Tickets for the event go on sale on July 31st.

AEW will be returning to the UK this summer for its All In PPV, taking place at Wembley Stadium on August 30th.
