Banijay Kids & Family, a specialist in children’s entertainment, has acquired worldwide distribution rights to Husha Be. Produced by Cwmni Da, the animated series is designed to introduce young audiences to mindfulness.
The 52 x 7’ preschool series, commissioned by Welsh-language broadcaster S4C, blends storytelling with simple mindfulness techniques, helping children and their families find moments of stillness amid busy daily routines. Set in a distinctive textile-inspired world, Husha Be follows a trio of characters as they guide viewers through sensory experiences and gentle exercises designed to support emotional wellbeing, focus and self-awareness.
Julia Rowlands, SVP Co-Productions, Sales & Acquisitions, Banijay Kids & Family, commented: “Husha Be is a truly special series that combines playful and creative storytelling with a meaningful purpose that encourages positive habits for children’s development and mental health. As demand grows for content that supports wellbeing, this beautifully executed show offers a unique and timely proposition for broadcasters and platforms worldwide.”
Bethan Griffiths, Chief Executive, Cwmni Da, added: “Husha Be is a production that is truly close to our hearts – a series that combines creativity, care, and real purpose. We are thrilled that Banijay Kids & Family has recognised what S4C saw in this series, and look forward to seeing Husha Be reach new audiences around the world.”
