Ateme enables premium frame-rate conversion for RTL Deutschland

Ateme has announced that RTL Deutschland has selected Ateme’s software-based frame-rate conversion technology to support major upcoming international live event workflows.
RTL will leverage Ateme’s premium motion-compensated frame-rate conversion capabilities to deliver high-quality live production while simplifying integration into modern IP infrastructures through native ST 2110 support and a software-friendly architecture.
“We were looking for a frame-rate conversion solution that combines high video quality with straightforward integration into our ST 2110 environment,” said Gerd Meyer, Senior Principal Broadcast Manager at RTL Deutschland. “Ateme’s software-based approach provides the flexibility and ease of integration required for evolving live production workflows.”
