AMC+ lands Doctor Who

AMC+ will be the new, exclusive streaming home to 13 seasons and 176 episodes (including specials) of cult sci-fi series Doctor Who (2005 – 2022) in the US beginning June 11th following a deal with BBC Studios. The episodes had previously been unavailable to stream anywhere in the US.

The 13 seasons acquired first aired in the UK between 2005 and 2022, and saw several acclaimed actors lead the series in the role of the Doctor including Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi and Jodie Whittaker (pictured).
The series first debuted in 1963. The latest two seasons, which feature Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, stream exclusively on Disney+ outside the UK.
