The Vardys reality series coming to ITV

ITV has commissioned reality series The Vardys, offering an exclusive insight into the lives of one of the football and showbiz worlds’ most famous families as they take on one of their biggest challenges yet – leaving Leicester after 13 years for a new life abroad.
This new series from Orchard Studios will air later this year on ITV1 and ITVX. Kicking off with Vardy’s final match for Leicester City, where he scored his 200th goal, the story will also unfold off the pitch – with family matriarch Rebekah juggling it all.
After a dramatic five years in the UK, Rebekah is ready for the next chapter – but uprooting and moving to Italy with four kids (plus a superstar footballer husband) is not exactly what she had in mind. As she manages the emotional and physical upheaval of the new move, she reflects on her recent challenges in the UK, intent on putting the ‘Wagatha‘ drama behind her and focusing on a new chapter.
With intimate access to the Vardys, this series follows all the drama and chaos of their new family adventure – from frantic house-hunts and tearful school searches, to unexpected disasters and dramatic setbacks, all while Jamie battles to prove his doubters wrong on the pitch at the age of 38, with newly promoted Italian Serie A underdogs Cremonese.

The Vardys was commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe and Louise Major for ITV. The Executive Producers are Dan Grabiner and Nat Lippiett for Orchard Studios and the Showrunner is Josh Jacobs.
Separately, Netflix will be launching a Jamie Vardy documentary on May 12th. Untold UK: Jamie Vardy will showcase the storied career of the Premier League legend.
