By Nik Roseveare

The second leg of Manchester City vs Real Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16 will be shown exclusively on Prime Video on March 17th – with the build-up beginnings at 18.30 GMT ahead of kick-off at 20.00 at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have their work cut out after losing the first leg 3-0 on March 11th courtesy of a first-half hat-trick from Federico Valverde.

Prime Video’s coverage is led by presenter Gabby Logan, with analysis from a punditry team that includes four-time winner of the competition Clarence Seedorf, Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney, and ex-England, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City striker Daniel Sturridge. Jon Champion and Alan Shearer will provide live commentary, with Gabriel Clarke and Alex Aljoe reporting from inside the stadium.

In November 2025, Prime Video secured a four-year extension to continue broadcasting top-pick UEFA Champions League matches in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Italy through to the 2030/31 season. The deal includes exclusive Tuesday top-pick matches in the UK and co-exclusive coverage in Ireland.
