Musk trademarks Starfall

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has quietly registered the service trademark ‘Starfall’ through the tiny Polynesian kingdom of Tonga. The application was made on May 19th and recognised by the US Patent & Trademark Office on October 9th.
The filing covers launch, on-orbit & re-entry services, spaceflight travel, in-space manufacturing services, custom manufacturing and processing of pharmaceuticals. Key seems to be the provision of in-space manufacturing services, namely manufacturing in micro-gravity and the “hosting of payloads for others in a micro-gravity environment with commercial applications”.
It covers launch, on-orbit, and re-entry services, namely, transporting the payloads of others to, through, and from space; Spaceflight travel services for humans and objects
The document also talks about R&D in the fields of in-space manufacturing.
“Research and development of technology in the fields of in-space manufacturing, spaceflight, and space exploration; engineering services in the fields of in-space manufacturing, spaceflight, and space exploration; scientific research in the fields of in-space manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and biology; scientific and technological services, namely, scientific research and analysis of data in the fields of in-space manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and biology; aerial surveying services,” says the documentation.
