Bank give $55 target to AST SpaceMobile
June 26, 2025

AST SpaceMobile has received another boost from an investment bank. Bank of America has given a price target of $55. What’s somewhat remarkable is that the Bank has only included conventional commercial activity for its ‘Direct-to-Consumer’ space-based cellular service. The Bank has left out potential revenues from Defence or Government demands, both expected to figure in future income.
The Bank’s note to clients, issued on June 25th, says there’s a large potential market and quotes AST’s forecasts of reaching a potential 3 billion subscribers from its existing telco partners as it provides a complementary service for terrestrial wireless networks. The Bank admits “we think ARPUs will be a fraction of traditional wireless services”.
The note updates clients on AST’s plans to boost production of its satellites to six per month. The Bank expects AST’s service to begin in “early 2026” from an initial 25 orbiting satellites, and a more comprehensive global service from a portfolio of 45-60 satellites by the end of 2026/early 2027.
While backing AST’s investment positives, they also list the challenges ahead and headed by the need to get the satellites launched and deployed, and the need for potential subscribers to sign up for the service.
Nevertheless, the Bank forecasts sales revenue in 2027 of $586.51 million.
