Yahoo appoints Curry as UK MD
June 3, 2025
Yahoo has announced the appointment of Tom Curry as its new UK Managing Director, overseeing Yahoo’s DSP and Yahoo Ads sales function across the region. In his new role, Curry is tasked with expanding revenue, deepening strategic relationships, and spearheading the adoption of Yahoo’s programmatic and owned-and-operated advertising solutions.
Curry joined Yahoo (then AOL) in 2016 as UK Head of Investment, before rising to Senior Director of EMEA Investment in 2022. With previous tenures at Bauer Media and EMAP Advertising, he has established a strong track record in media investment, client growth, and commercial strategy.
This announcement comes as Yahoo prepares for Cannes Lions 2025, where the company will showcase its latest innovations in advertising technology, data-driven creativity, and cross-channel measurement.
Speaking on his appointment, Curry said: “Yahoo is uniquely positioned to drive results for brands and agencies with our powerful ad tech, innovative formats, and direct consumer relationships. I’m looking forward to stepping into this new role at such an exciting time for the industry and to help shape the next phase of growth as we head into Cannes and beyond.”
