May 6, 2025

Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe has revealed its coverage plans for the Giro d’Italia and La Vuelta Femenina – the first Grand Tour races of the cycling season.

Some of the world’s greatest riders are poised to push beyond breaking point in one of the most challenging feats of sporting endurance. Their quest to become immortalised in cycling history by competing for the Giro d’Italia’s eminent never-ending trophy and its prestigious pink jersey will begin on May 9th as stage one departs from Albania for the first time in 108 editions.

WBD will show all 21 stages of the Corsa Rosa live, comprising 110 hours of action, across Europe, Asia and the US with exclusivity in more than 50 markets. Premium and local linear coverage will be broadly available on TNT Sports (UK and Ireland) and Eurosport (Europe and Asia) coupled with uninterrupted streaming of every kilometre on Max (Europe and USA) and discovery+ (Austria, Italy, Germany and the UK).

New for 2025, fans streaming on Max and discovery+ can take advantage of in-app innovations such as timeline markers, which highlight moments from the race such as sprints or attacks, so viewers can easily catch-up on any race action missed. Fans watching on Max and discovery+ can also choose a new multi-camera second-screen option with a selection of three different motorcycle cameras and a helicopter camera providing panoramic shots of the race during each stage.

WBD’s free-to-air to channels in Germany (Eurosport 1) and Denmark (Kanal 5) will also cover every stage of the Giro d’Italia live with daily highlights available for free viewing in the UK (Quest). Expanding the storytelling to the widest possible audience, a whole host of highlights, exclusive interviews and bonus content will be available across TNT Sports Cycling YouTube channel and websties.

Local analysis shows will be produced for viewers in the UK and Ireland (The Breakaway), France (Les Rois de la Pédale) Germany (Velo Club), the Netherlands (Kop Over Kop), Spain (La Montonera) featuring a consummate cast of cycling experts in presentation roles. These include:
