Mountainhead debuts on Sky and NOW in June
April 4, 2025
Sky will debut Mountainhead, an exclusive film written, directed, and executive produced by seven-time Emmy winner and Oscar-nominated Jesse Armstrong (Succession), on June 1st. The film finishes production this week in Park City, Utah and marks Armstrong’s feature directorial debut.
The movie follows a group of billionaire friends who get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis. The cast includes Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith and Ramy Youssef.
Armstrong (pictured) commented in March: “I’m intrigued to discover whether being around so many brilliant actors and directors on Succession has in any way rubbed off on me. Let’s hope so. I’m grateful to Casey Bloys, Francesca Orsi and the whole HBO team for backing this film so wholeheartedly and helping me pull together a dream team of cast and crew.”
