October 23, 2024

ReedPop has announced that the minds behind PlayStation The Concert will appear onstage in a panel at this weekend’s MCM x EGX in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment.
PlayStation The Concert features the iconic music from God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, the Horizon series, and more. The state-of-the art live show promises a combination of multi-layered visuals, immersive surround sound, and a virtuoso ensemble of soloists blending classical and modern instruments. The show is brought to fans by Sony Interactive Entertainment, RG Live, Senbla, GEA Live and RoadCo Entertainment, and will come to the UK in April 2025.
At the panel, attendees will learn exclusive details and behind-the-scenes insights from the PlayStation The Concert arena tour and embark on an in-depth exploration of the iconic music that has defined the PlayStation experience for over 30 years.
The panel will delve into the stories behind the creation of beloved soundtracks, and the cultural impact these compositions have had on the gaming world, straight from the composers themselves:
-
Jules Hardy – Moderating the panel is Jules Hardy, the host of CBBC’s Game On Grandparents, BBC’s Top Gear Gaming Show and also Gran Turismo.
-
Chad Cannon – Chad is the Arranger and Orchestrator for PlayStation: The Concert as well as for Ghost of Tsushima. He is also Co-Composer for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut (Iki Island Expansion) with Bill Hemstapat.
-

The panel will be held at MCM x EGX’s Centre Stage on October 26th at 3:50pm, and is included for free for all Saturday and Weekend ticket holders.
EGX and MCM Comic Con London will take place at ExCeL London from October 25th to 27th, and will be the first time both events are under one roof.
