September 4, 2024
Cinedeck, pioneer in integrated delivery solutions for the media and entertainment industry, has integrated its Cinedeck ingest servers, CD2 Software and Capture2Cloud solutions with Avid MediaCentral, providing multi-cam ingest options into Avid broadcast news and sports environments. This partnership includes integration between Cinedeck’s ingest servers, CD2 Software and Capture2Cloud solutions and Avid’s leading media workflow platform, Avid MediaCentral.
Adding support for Avid MediaCentral means that Cinedeck users can seamlessly check-in to their Avid MediaCentral and Cloud UX environments, directly from Cinedeck ingest servers, CD2 Software and Capture2Cloud. Support is also provided for Edit While Capture functionality enabling users to access live content. MediaCentral streamlines the entire production workflow, enabling dispersed teams to collaborate, to create content, and deliver to more outlets and devices, maximising the value of media. By integrating Cinedeck’s intuitive ingest tools with Avid MediaCentral, users can quickly capture and ingest raw footage from multiple channels directly to the MediaCentral environment, to browse, search, edit, share and distribute content more easily.
James Cranfield, Global VP Sales and Partnerships, Cinedeck, commented: “We’re thrilled to have partnered with trusted technology provider Avid to enhance the production and distribution processes for content creators and broadcasters worldwide. Together, we’re working to streamline workflows and offer innovative tools that meet the evolving needs of the industry. This partnership highlights our shared commitment to supporting the media community with the technology and resources they need to succeed.”
Ray Thompson, Sr Director Partners and Alliances, Avid, added: “By collaborating with innovative technology provider Cinedeck, we are combining our strengths to provide production teams with more powerful creative capabilities. Integrating our solutions will enable media companies to further streamline their workflows to create the best possible content in the fastest time.”
