Azercosmos signs deal with PEKASAT

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between Azercosmos and the Czech company PEKASAT SE. This memorandum aims to expand new business opportunities by mutually utilising ground stations for low-orbit satellite operations.
Both parties will collaborate in Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic to provide their clients with telemetry services, including the reception of control signals and the sending of commands to satellites, the transmission of large volumes of data from satellites, and the exchange of expertise in the operation of ground infrastructure.
PEKASAT SE is a Czech, private owned European joint stock company based in Brno, Czech Republic. With its Ground station facility located in Vlkos u Kyjova offers satellite operator and other customers various services on multiple antenna systems operating in UHF/VHF, S- and X-bands.
