June 26, 2024
Giant Worldwide has introduced new Subtitling Services, in addition to its full suite of post-production offerings.
By enhancing its Subtitling, Closed Captioning, and SDH offerings [Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard-of-hearing], Giant Worldwide streamlines the process, providing clients with a comprehensive solution, simplifying content distribution. This strategic expansion aligns seamlessly with existing services and highlights Giant’s dedication to making content accessible to global audiences.
“With nearly two decades of managing and distributing localisation assets for a wide range of customers, Giant is poised to not only fortify our existing services but also emerge as a key creator of these assets.” said Meri Hassouni, SVP Client Services at Giant Worldwide. “I am thrilled we’re increasing our subtitling capabilities as this expansion provides our clients with further streamlined end-to-end solutions.”
Skillful in over 40 languages and expanding, Giant Worldwide’s team of native linguists deliver subtitles that are accurate and culturally resonant. Workflows are designed with flexibility at the forefront, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring adaptability and efficiency. At the heart of its services lies technical precision, with expert packaging and distribution services across all platforms.
Orchestrated by Giant Worldwide’s US-based project management team, the company ensures the most effective workflows are utilised, delivering high-quality results consistently and on schedule. Its commitment to excellence is further supported by our expanding teams in Warsaw and Manila, providing 24/7 assistance to fulfill its promise of outstanding service.
Steering this initiative is Christine Zembal, VP of Localization, who joined Giant Worldwide earlier this year. With an impressive career spanning 24 years in the media entertainment localisation sector, Zembal has been a force during the localization industry’s dynamic shifts, adeptly navigating the transition from physical media to the streaming revolution. Her extensive tenure is marked by pivotal roles at SDI Media, where she honed her expertise and cultivated her leadership skills, furthered more recently with Iyuno. Her comprehensive skill set covers a broad spectrum of services, including subtitling, dubbing, and access services, catering to a diverse clientele across 80 languages.
“In coming aboard, I’m truly impressed with Giant Worldwide’s dedication to outstanding client service,” Zembal explains. “The introduction of our new subtitle and SDH capabilities will not only further our ability to meet the needs of our clients but is a natural step toward expanding our global services and enhancing our localization offerings.”
