StarHub achieves 99% 5G coverage in Singapore
February 14, 2024
StarHub has achieved the milestone of over 99 per cent coverage for its outdoor 5G network in Singapore.
“Just like other necessities, connectivity has become an integral part of our daily lives,” said Nikhil Eapen, StarHub’s Chief Executive. “Aligned with DARE+, StarHub is proud to continue elevating how our Singapore community live, work and play, empowered by fast and reliable connectivity, now with an even greater network blanket across Singapore.”
StarHub was the first to make 5G a reality in Singapore in 2020, introducing the network to the market with over 50 per cent of network coverage during its initial trial period. The coverage has swiftly grown to over 99 per cent, as 5G usage has surged. 5G brings up to ten times faster internet speeds, allowing customers to enjoy lag-free streaming, fast downloads, and low-latency cloud gaming while on-the-go.
StarHub offers customers 5G plans starting at $22 a month, with no contract required.
