The Voice Kids heads to Malta
July 11, 2022
This autumn, Public Broadcasting Services (channel TVM) will give a stage to the younger talents of Malta as it becomes the latest channel to commission its own version of The Voice Kids. Production on an 11-episode series will imminently produced locally by Greatt Company.
This new commission marks the 43rd territory for the hit format, which is distributed internationally by ITV Studios.
Based on the global hit The Voice, The Voice Kids features the same blind auditions and electrifying battles as young vocalists as they try to impress top recording artists (the coaches) in the hope of becoming the ultimate winner.
The Voice Kids is part of The Voice franchise – which includes The Voice, The Voice Kids, The Voice Senior, The Voice Teens, The Voice All Stars, The Voice Rap and The Voice Generations. The Voice franchise has generated a total of 144 adaptations across the globe, making it the biggest and most successful format brand in the non-scripted global marketplace to date.
