Spain: Vodafone adds AMC+; Movistar drops channels

Vodafone Spain, following Orange’s lead, has reached an agreement with AMC Networks International Southern Europe to integrate the AMC+ VoD service with a wide catalogue of popular TV series and movies.
Meanwhile, Movistar is reorganising its football offer and has dropped some 16 sports channels from its line-up – the entire block from Movistar+ La Liga 2 to La Liga 10, channels 54, 55 and from 170 to 176 and Movistar + La Liga de Campeones on 58 and from 180 to 183.
In other news, MásMóvil has completed the acquisition of local telco operator Ahi+ for €116 million at a time when the company is finalising its merger with Orange, set to be completed by the end of June.
