Dizplai partners with Reddit
April 13, 2022
Dizplai, the cloud data display platform and professional services team formerly known as Never.no, has announced a partnership with Reddit, enabling live producers to tap into the platform’s community-based content.
The new partnership and integration of Reddit’s API gives content creators access to over 100,000 active communities on the platform. Producers can now quickly source and display authentic, real-time conversations and curate topical discussions, themes or reactions in their live production to contextualise news, sports, factual and entertainment stories.
“The Reddit integration to Dizplai is a fantastic addition to our growing number of social, live data, and messaging channels that producers can access and feature in their live offering today. Our global client base of broadcasters and content creators are seeing great value in producing content that features their audience, enabling them to extend the reach of content and increase tune-in” said Karl Kathuria, Customer Solutions Director. “This integration allows our clients to engage directly with the Reddit community, and to bring key interactions into Dizplai, for highlighting on air alongside content from other platforms. Whether they produce fan-led sports programming, or cover the latest election results, producers will be able to source a wider range of content, live.”
“People come to Reddit to engage with relevant and authentic conversations around topics and interests they are most passionate about. With Dizplai, global broadcasters can now access live public sentiment , tapping into over 100,000 communities worldwide to feature Reddit content on-air, as dynamic community events like r/place unfold in real-time,” added Jonathan Flesher, Reddit’s VP, Business Development and Partnerships.
