Germany: Prime Video hires Pro7 exec

Amazon has appointed former ProSiebenSat.1 MD Kaspar Pfluger to head its Prime Video streaming service in Germany.
Pfluger lead the German broadcaster from 2015 and last year took charge of production at sister unit Seven.One Entertainment.
Pfluger, who has also worked at RTL Group and Channel 5 in the UK, will replace Christoph Schneider at Amazon, who had been in charge of its German streaming operations for a decade.
Prime Video is the most widely used SVoD service in Germany.
