Disney+ adding Netflix Marvel series
March 1, 2022
By Nik Roseveare
On March 16th, Disney+ will add more Marvel live-action series titles to its expansive content offering in the UK, the USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand with the addition of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher, giving fans access to more from the Marvel collection, all in one place.
The titles were all previously exclusively available on Netflix following a deal put in place before The Walt Disney Company acquired Marvel.

The series will also be available across all other Disney+ markets later this year.
This will be the first Disney+ branded content that features a guidance rating above 12A (such content is usually housed under the Star banner, such as The Walking Dead and Family Guy). As a result, Disney+ has said it will be updating its parental controls accordingly.
