Morris joins Level

Leading film, TV, and music lawyer, Tony Morris, has joined Level. He is one of the industry’s expert authorities in Media and Entertainment law with a career spanning more than 40 years.
Morris’s focus is on clients who develop, finance, produce and distribute films and other audio-visual content, including record companies, music publishers, composers and musicians, screenwriters and other authors, creatives and influencers.

Morris has advised on a broad range of transactional and contentious matters with particular emphasis on contractual, commercial and intellectual property matters. He is a keen proponent of Alternative Dispute Resolution and is an accredited mediator and a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Independent Film & Television Alliance.

Morris joins Level from Swan Turton where he was a consultant. Prior to that he spent 22 years at Marriott Harrison (14 as Managing Partner) following a six year stint at Cameron Markby Hewitt (now part of CMS).
For the last 25 years, Morris has also taught the legal aspects of audio-visual production at a number of universities and film schools around Europe. He is currently a guest lecturer at the National Film & Television School (Beaconsfield), at the University of Portsmouth and for the Raindance Organisation.
