Canada: Extreme E extends broadcast agreement
February 4, 2022
Extreme E has extended its broadcast partnership RDS that will see the electric off-road racing series reach 2.5 million homes across Canada. Extreme E’s agreement with RDS ensures all of the live action in Season 2 will be available to Canadian sports fans, with the first X Prix of 2022 taking place later this month in Neom, Saudi Arabia.

Ali Russell, Chief Marketing Officer at Extreme E, said: “We are delighted to extend our agreement with RDS. This partnership will help to expand our engagement with Canadians, who are well known for loving their sports, adventure, and travel led content, and have a strong affinity with purpose and a responsibility for our planet.” Domenic Vannelli, Vice-President Programming, RDS, added: “We are very proud to be involved with Extreme E again and build on the momentum we created last year. RDS is honoured and appreciate to be associated with a sport that raises awareness for climate change and promotes gender equality in motorsport.”
