Microsoft has confirmed that Apple TV will soon be available through its Xbox consoles.
In a blog post, Microsft said: “When our all-new Xbox family of consoles launch worldwide on November 10th, you’ll have more than just the entertainment apps you enjoy today on Xbox One. We’re excited to share that the Apple TV app is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 10th.”
The Apple TV app gives access to thousands of shows and movies from one location, allowing viewers to access Apple TV+, Apple TV channels, new and popular movies, and personalised entertainment recommendations.
Apple TV will join a host of other streaming apps on Xbox Series S and X including Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Spotify, YouTube, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Peacock, Vudu, FandangoNow, Twitch, Sky Go, NOW TV, Sky Ticket and more.
Sony announced last month that the Apple TV app will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (released November 19th) consoles from November 12th.
