September 28, 2020
On-demand and OTT specialist Simplestream and media solutions provider VISTA Worldlink have formed a strategic partnership for the US market, with VISTA now offering Simplestream’s App Platform as part of its VIBE (Video Internet Broadcast Eco-system) end-to-end service for both new and existing customers.
The partnership will enable VISTA to combine the elements of traditional television distribution with best in industry digital tools for a complete distribution package, now fully integrated with Simplestream’s technology stack. VISTA’s partners can take full advantage of these new streamlined workflows for complex live and on demand services across any device.
“We have worked together with Vista for a number of years now on some exciting sports projects, so partnering for the US market makes complete sense,” commented Dan Finch, Chief Commercial Officer, Simplestream. “With their expertise in content acquisition, signal management and 24/7 Network Operations Centre, it is totally complementary to our cutting edge OTT services and we are looking forward to continued success with the VISTA team in the US.”
“We are excited to have included Simplestream’s award-winning App Platform as part of our Video Internet Broadcast Eco-system,” added Joshua Liemer, President of Vista Worldlink. “This will simplify the process to allow our customers to provide a cutting edge experience on both traditional and digital platforms.”
