Champions League Goals Show: Retro on BT Sport

BT Sport is recreating of one of its most popular shows in the form of UEFA Champions League Goals Show: Retro.
Kicking off on May 17th, James Richardson will take a look back at some of the most iconic Champions League games from years gone by. Joined by contributors Raphael Honigstein, James Horncastle and Julien Laurens, Richardson and the team will choose their greatest moments and favourite players from the competition, bringing viewers never-before-seen stories together with fresh insight.
The first episode will celebrate the Bundesliga’s return to BT Sport with a trip back to 1997 when Paul Lambert and Borussia Dortmund overcame a star-studded Juventus side, featuring the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Didier Deschamps and Christian Vieri, to lift the Champions League trophy.
With a different classic game under the spotlight every episode, UEFA Champions League Goals Show: Retro returns on May 18th with a look at how Louis Van Gaal’s Ajax team stormed to a 5-2 victory over Bayern Munich in the Semi Finals.
