Verizon Media, Serena Williams launch shoppable video series

Verizon Media together with global sports icon and entrepreneur Serena Williams have announced an exclusive shoppable video series expanding S by Serena’s Everybody, Every Body content released earlier this year. The partnership builds on Verizon Media’s core strategy to connect content and discovery to transactions.
Everybody, Every Body, the short-form digital series, is available now on Yahoo Shopping, Yahoo’s new commerce platform, with additional episodes set to air through February 2020.
According to a press release, Everybody, Every Body “showcases the newest Autumn/Winter 2020 collection from S by Serena through episodes designed to empower viewers by embracing diversity, size acceptance and inclusivity. The first video hosted by Williams highlights her style guide and favorite pieces from the collection”.
Powered by Verizon Media’s new shoppable video format, the videos will take viewers on an interactive journey, with clickable content that allows for seamless purchasing.
