Hulu price hike
November 18, 2019
Hulu, the US streaming service, is raising prices – for the second time this year – for its top-tier subscription plan for live TV streaming.
From December 18th, Hulu’s live television streaming plan will cost $55 (€49.7)per month, an increase of $10 a month, or 22 per cent. The price for Hulu + Live TV, which includes ads, previously rose by $5 a month in February.
On the company website, Hulu said: “Today, we’re letting customers know that the monthly base price of Hulu + Live TV will increase to $54.99, beginning December 18. The new price better reflects the substantial value of Hulu + Live TV and allows us to continue offering all of the popular live news, sports and entertainment programming included in the plan.”
