From David Del Valle in Madrid
Movistar has entered into an alliance with airline companies Iberia and Air Europa to integrate their apps into its pay-TV platform to allow users to buy tickets and perform check-ins.
Following the deal, the airline companies will enable Movistar subscribers to buy flight tickets through their respective TV apps, and via Movistar Home with the voice assistant Aura.
Users will also be able to select their seats, add luggage, and even pay for on-board WiFi services.
