Ireland’s Eir launches on Apple TV
October 18, 2019
Eir, the Irish telco, has launched a new TV service with Apple TV. The service provides customers with over 100 channels in HD, and access to thousands of apps including RTE Player, Now TV, Netflix, Youtube and Amazon Prime Video.
Customers can get a monthly subscription for €14.99 per month for the first six months, and €19.99 per month thereafter.
Susan Brady, Managing Director of Marketing at Eir, commented: “Until now, traditional set top boxes have dictated people’s entertainment, locking consumers into their content and making accessing other entertainment and content difficult. eir TV, together with Apple TV 4K, turns that on its head and gives consumers the best of live TV entertainment with 100+ channels and HD as standard.”
“It’s everything customers need to enjoy a world of entertainment all in one place,” she added.
In addition, Eir’s mobile app is being replaced with a new Eir TV app for both broadband and TV customers.
