Spain: TV to get €10m each for DTT migration
October 15, 2019
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Spain’s TV operators will receive a state subsidy of €10 million each to finance their costs in the ongoing digital migration.
This aid is added to the €145 million package already approved for citizens to readjust their antennas to watch DTT signals.
Around 850,000 buildings with communal antennas are affected due to the DTT migration to release the 700 MHz band for 5G services- set to be completed by June 2020.
