Emilio Lliteras, 41, has been appointed as the new Director General at UTECA, Spain’s largest private TV association, replacing the outgoing Andres Armas.
Lliteras is an expert in marketing, brand positioning and business development of TV companies having worked for Grupo Bainet, Sandoz and British American Tobacco among others.
He will now oversee the DTT migration, the new Audiovisual Law, and try to defend FTA TV interests to operate in the market under the same conditions as other new operators, according to UTECA.
UTECA is formed by Atresmedia, Net TV, Veo TV, Ten, 13 TV, Real Madrid TV and DKiss.
