September 5, 2019
Torque Video Systems, a global provider of innovative solutions for disaster recovery playout, monitoring and management systems, has announced a business and sales distribution channel partnership with Vancouver-based NETINT Technologies, an innovator of computational storage and video processing SoC solutions.
Under the agreement, Torque will integrate NETINT’s Codensity Video Transcoders into its DVStor product line. In addition, Torque will look after sales and marketing activities of NETINT Technologies’ products across Asia.
Danny Wilson, Founder and CEO of Torque Video Systems said, “Codensity Video Transcoders are a breakthrough in both ease of use while providing the highest encoding density we have seen so far. Packaged like an SSD drive, integrating these with our NVMe storage systems is simply brilliant, as these fit into any FFmpeg workflow. With that flexibility, we are confident the NETINT Codensity products will offer tremendous benefits to our clients.”
“NETINT is excited about working with Torque to expand our market presence in Asia,” said Randal Horne, Head of Global Sales, NETINT Technologies. “Torque’s years of experience and intimate knowledge of the global video market will provide a powerful advantage in our efforts to introduce the economic, density and deployment benefits of Codensity video transcoding solutions to service providers in Asia,” continued Horne.
