SmartLabs migrated StarNet TV solution from legacy platform
August 21, 2019
The Moldovan operator StarNet, a triple-play service provider, has chosen to upgrade its IPTV solution, bringing its TV services to a new level. SmartLabs will replace the operator’s legacy platform with the SmartTUBE multi-screen solution, offering the operator its UHD set-top boxes and high-end client applications for mobile devices and Smart TVs.
StarNet will remotely deploy customised SmartTUBE UIs for all deployed STBs and every customer will be migrated to the new platform. New customers will receive the branded SML-5050 STB.
“Thanks to our partnership with SmartLabs, we will be able to provide new interactive services for our IPTV subscribers to enjoy a feature-rich and unique TV experience. This is a totally new level of media entertainment and user experience we are happy to offer to all the existing and future StarNet subscribers,” said Alexandru Machedon, Founder of StarNet.
“We are happy to migrate all StarNet subscribers to a new level of modern interactive TV entertainment while the operator can reap the increased business profits and reduced support costs,” SmartLabs CEO Mikhail Grachev added.
