Spain: Vodafone & Orange offer 50% discounts
June 7, 2019
From David Del Vale in Madric
A summer price war has broken out in Spain, with Vodafone and Orange both reducing the price of their convergent services by 50 per cent in an attempt to boost subscriptions.
The half price promotion will initially last for three months. Movistar is reportedly also planning to launch a low cost promotion in response.
Orange and Movistar are still seeking to capture some of Vodafone’s 200,000 football fan subscribers who remain subscribed to Vodafone despite it now offering no football.
