Facebook streams Masters in Middle East

Facebook has secured a late deal to provide the Middle East with free coverage of this year’s Masters golf tournament – which starts today (April 11th).
The agreement includes live coverage of all four days of the tournament in Augusta, as well as the green jacket ceremony, which crowns the winner of the competition.
Sports Pro reports that the countries covered in the deal are the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Streaming coverage can be accessed through the Masters’ official Facebook page.
The deal marks Facebook’s latest venture into live sports, adding on its coverage of MLB in the US, La Liga in India, and the Champions League in Latin America.
