French animation group Cyber Group Studios has agreed a deal with US company Future Today, a specialist in multiplatform distribution, to launch a free VoD app delivering cartoons aimed at kids aged 3 to 8.
YayToons will be available on OTT platforms such as Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Apple TV. Further distribution agreements will be announced shortly in the US and internationally.
YayToons offers around 300 episodes of animated series from Cyber Group Studios’ library, including titles such as The Bellflower Bunnies, Mini Ninjas, Mirette Investigates and The Pirates Next Door.
In 2017, Cyber Group Studios, whose headquarters are based in Paris, expanded its activities into the US and opened a subsidiary in Los Angeles.
