M2A Media, a specialist in cloud video solutions, and Mediability, the Nordics largest professional equipment provider and systems integrator, have formed a partnership to offer fully cloud-based Live Streaming, Live Capture and Disaster Recovery services to premium sports and entertainment content rights holders in the Nordics.
M2A Media specialise in the live video delivery of the world’s most valuable sports and entertainment events. Their cloud-native Live Streaming technology and operations service is trusted by the likes of DAZN, BBC and ITV. M2A Media’s Live Capture service, meanwhile, uses the power and scalability of the Cloud to create high-quality, frame accurately trimmed, digital assets from live SD, HD and 4K content, allowing viewers access to VoD content via a full range of devices minutes after broadcast. This speed allows broadcasters to monetise those assets when they are most in demand.
Marina Kalkanis, CEO, M2A Media, commented, “As we expand our international operations, choosing the right partners is incredibly important to us. Therefore we are delighted to collaborate with Mediability. The Mediability team has the right combination of technical expertise and market knowledge to support the value of M2A’s offering to the Nordic region. We look forward to working closely with the team in Scandinavia, as our presence in the region grows.”
“We look forward to offering the excellent Live Streaming and Live Capture solutions from M2A to our customers in the Scandinavian market,” added Stian Elde, CEO Mediability. “M2A has a proven track record in supporting broadcasters and sports rights holders, which is a perfect match with Mediability and our systems integration services.”
