March 4, 2019
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Basque-Country cable operator Euskaltel made a profit record of €62.8 million in 2018, up 26.6 per cent versus the previous year.
Total revenues grew by 11.2 per cent to €691.6 million, with €463.3 million, up 11.3 per cent, stemming from residentials and €189.9 million from enterprises.
EBITDA stood at €336.4 million, up 9.6 per cent. With these historic results, Euskaltel is now facing national expansion breaking into other Spain’s territories and with UK’s Zegona wavering to buy or not to buy.
