From David Del Valle in Madrid
Basque-Country-based cable operator Euskaltel has signed a supply and management agreement with ZTE España.
The agreement sees Euskaltel take the next step in its national expansion into the country, with ZTE turning into its main supplier of fibre equipment.
Euskaltel is deploying its networks in Navarra, León, Cantabria and La Rioja, as well as Catalonia, through the RACCtel + brand.
The agreement with ZTE will allow Euskaltel to provide high quality equipment to the 90,000 additional planned customers to be captured in the new markets.
