Apple streaming service launching mid-April?

Apple is preparing to launch its video streaming service in mid-April, acoording to a report originating in The Information.
According to the report, Apple has been telling entertainment companies who will have content available through the service to be tentatively ready for a launch in mid-April. A release date is said to be planned within a few weeks of the mid-April launch target.
The service will initially only be available in the US, but Apple will agressively roll out the service globally throughout the rest of 2019.
