Salt mobile network migrates to Swisscom
January 10, 2019
Over the last few days, all of UPC’s Mobile customers have been migrated from the Salt mobile network to that of Swisscom, rated by the 2018 Connect and Chip test as the best mobile network in Switzerland.
With this migration, UPC seeks to bring broader coverage and more reliability to its mobile services. The combination of its own fibre optic network with Swisscom’s mobile network constitutes a strong new premium infrastructure on the market. UPC says it is now the only operator in Switzerland able to offer top connectivity speed for both fixed-line and mobile across its entire footprint.
“We are focusing on bringing more value to our residential and business customers”, said Severina Pascu, CEO of UPC. “The new mobile network complements and enhances our propositions by providing our customers the best means to stream and to stay connected in the home and outside the home.”
