India’s SITI Networks grows 24%

India’s giant MSO SITI Networks, with 55 million consumers and serving more than 580 cable communities across the nation, reported solid growth across all key metrics with its Q2 results.
SITI is controlled by Essel Group, part of the Zee TV family of media businesses, and said that its EBITDA grew 2.5 times during Q2, and helped by increased digital ARPU revenues (up 19 per cent).
Subscription revenues grew 19 per cent over the quarter-year (and by 24 per cent y-o-y), to September 30th. Digital subscribers grew by 300,000 taking its total active subscribers to 11.75 million.
