Spain: Mediapro takes over DTT Ten
October 31, 2018
From Davie Del Valle in Madrid
Spanish TV groups Mediapro and Grupo Secuoya have reached an agreement over the ill-fated DTT channel Ten.
Henceforth the channel, owned by Secuoya, will be managed and operated by Mediapro who will take complete responsibility for the programming and schedule. Mediapro currently holds some football TV rights, and a number of TV series through its production company Globomedia.
The deal aims to give the DTT channel a complete refresh and increase its average audience share beyond 1 per cent.
