September 24, 2018
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Telefónica’s pay-TV platform Movistar Plus has upgraded its Smart TV app with the launch of a new interface that it describes as “more attractive and visual”.
The new UI allows subscribers to surf through TV channels and content more easily, with new options to personalise and discover.
The UI includes more (and better quality) images and graphics, previews of TV channels, simplified browsing options, more info on the channels and the content. It also includes a new home screen and a new menu.
The new UI is available on Android TVs, Sony and Philips Smart TVs, and devices like Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box and Amazon’s Fire TV Stick.
